How to Write Quality Blog Posts
Today we'll talk about How to Write Quality Blog Posts, lets find out:
If you are serious about using your blog as a part of your business, marketing and communications platform, then there should not be any point in time where you should sacrifice the quality of your content. You need to provide the best content you have for your blog visitors because that is the only way you are going to retain these visitors, and gather a good response for your blog.
Here is how you can produce great quality blog posts consistently:
1. Choose a topic you are passionate about. Writing a post is so much easier if you are writing about a topic that you are passionate about, and when you write about your passion, you write from the heart - that makes your posts more engaging and convincing. Once you have picked a topic, identify the common problems, questions, and frustrations faced by the people in this industry. Write about these problems.
2. Take time to craft an amazing title. The title is the one most important element in every blog post, and it essentially helps your readers decide whether they should continue reading the remaining of the post. The best way to do this, is to craft out 3 to 5 different blog post titles, and then pick from the one that you feel would appeal to your audience best.
3. Engage with your readers. After the amazing post title, it is the first paragraph that need to really engage with the visitors. State the topic in detail, and tell your visitors what is in it for them when they read the blog post from the start to the end.
4. Now that you have got your readers hooked on reading your entire blog posts, do what you ought to do - give it a best shot. Provide valuable and useful information by loading your post with content that will bring a positive impact on your readers. This will keep them coming back to your blog as you update it.

Power of Guest Posts
Today we'll talk about Power of Guest Posts, lets find out:
Advertising is a very important part of building any blog, and one of the best ways you can do this is through guest posts. A guest poster is basically a poster on a blog who is not a regular, usually from another blog. The way posting on other blogs can help you is by back-links. For example if you are featured as a guest poster on a blog about finance, you would write a very informative article on finance and included a short message at the bottom telling readers to check out your blog. Of course this post would be reviewed by the owner of the blog before being posted, and he/she would more than likely have requirements about the amount of advertising you can do for your blog in the article. Featuring guest posters on your blog can be helpful especially if you do not have enough time to write all the content for your blog.
When writing as a guest poster there are few things you should keep in mind: Keep your post to the highest possible quality, do not fill your post with ads for your blog, try to get featured on blogs with subjects pertaining to your own, and be careful of scammers.
All writers know that if they want to get a second job from the same person; they must keep the quality of their work to the maximum. Yes, writing quality content takes time, but if you do a good job on the article you are submitting the blog owner is more likely to feature you again on his/her blog. This is especially true if you write an article that gets more comments/attention than the regular articles posted.
One of the worse things you can do is submit an ad filled article to a blog owner. Number one your article will almost instantaneously be sent to the trash bin. Number two the owner of the blog is a lot less likely to take any of your other articles seriously and you have little to no chance of ever getting featured on their blog. So before submitting any article; make sure to ask the owner of the blog about their requirements when it comes to back-links and ads in your post/article.
There are a lot of blogs out there that have lazy owners who would be very glad for you to spend your valuable time and write for them. Wasting your time writing guest posts for them makes little sense if their website is not getting many visitors per month. Make sure to ask to "see the books"; do not believe them just because they tell you that their blog is getting 10,000 page views per week.
When compared with article directory submission guest posts get much more traffic and CTR to
a particular post if you choose the host blog properly.
If you wisely use the information listed above; you can greatly increase the number of visitors your website gets per month. Guest posting is one of the best "free" methods of advertising your website or services. So go ahead and give it a try!
Guest posts are one of the most legitimate but underused method to get links for a site. Author is a link building expert and recommends this method.
The Best Way to Make Money Blogging
Today we'll talk about The Best Way to Make Money Blogging, lets find out:
Blogging is something that started out as a simple way to enable any mortal (not just the big dogs) to share opinions, express points of view or communicate news and events online in an easy and affordable fashion.
However, in the beginning many people did not even know what a blog was and least of all that it was something with actual potential for profits.
Almost 90% of the early bloggers just did it as a hobby or to satisfy their personal passion for a topic or a cause, so you would see a lot of blogs with a lot of followers that were not actually making nor looking to make money, in part because they did not intended to do so in the first place.
However, those bloggers and a whole new wave of them opened their eyes to a blog's full potential from an economic standpoint, and that is where it all started as a business model in class of its own.
Nowadays blogging is in many ways better than a simple website, but probably what makes a blog more powerful and unique is its inherent ability to connect dynamically with visitors in the form of RSS feeds, blog archives and such, particularly if you are working in a platform like WordPress.
A blog can actually help you establish a very close relationship with your readers and make them your friends and then your costumers, but in order for that to happen there are several things you must do:
First, it is important that your blog looks professional. The days of the simple Blogger blog with default templates are over, unless you are a very well established blogger where that probably will not matter.
But if you have yet to establish your web presence and relevance, you need all the help you can get, and that means that you have to make the best first impression you possibly can, because people are just getting to know you, so you want them to think... this is a great website (or blog)!.
Websites and blogs alike are getting better and better from a design standpoint and they are increasingly offering more and more ways for visitors to connect and interact with them thus capturing the loyalty of their readers.
If you have a simple blog with no visual appeal and no way for your readers to connect with you, you might get a few bookmarks and maybe gain some popularity, but in the end you will lose the opportunity to keep many of your visitors as your loyal followers and potential paying costumers.
Secondly, you will want to provide good content and internal linking within your blog so that your readers find many reasons to stay and keep navigating through your blog. For example, you must have a place in your sidebar dedicated to recent posts or maybe the most popular posts.
This entices your reader to see what is new or what articles are the best ones, thus keeping him or her longer in your territory and increasing the potential for a profitable transaction to take place.
In a nutshell, the best way to make money blogging is to start strong with a professional look, good organization and good content, while being aware of what to do and what not to to avoid the common pitfalls in the blogging business.

Bloggers! If You Do Not Fire Up Your Headlines, Your Blog Will Definitely Be a LOSER!
Today we'll talk about Bloggers! If You Do Not Fire Up Your Headlines, Your Blog Will Definitely Be a LOSER!, lets find out:
Blogging has hit the mainstream as millions of writers eagerly sprint into the blog post, dreaming of AdSense riches and A-List fame. Your blog is only one out of millions on the Web shouting to be heard. There are at least 20,000 blogs in the blogging tips niche, with even more coming online every day. Successfully gaining the attention of readers is as precious as pure gold these days as we continue to be bombarded with far more information than we can handle at one time. You would better get your headlines all fired up or your blog will be a LOSER!!
1. If you do not have PASSION, stop blogging right now. You have got to have passion! Show your passion for your topic by crafting an attention-grabbing headline! Make your headline JUMP out at your readers!! Craft an EXUBERANT post title! Dazzle your readers with your best triumphant headline about how all is right with the world since you made $2,500 last month with AdSense! Or about the fact that ever since Darren Rowse featured your elite blog, your traffic has quadrupled and back links to your site have doubled!
2. Use your Exclamation Marks!!! Add emphasis to your headlines by using exclamation marks!!! Do not be ridiculous and use too many of them, but adding exclamation marks will help draw your readers attention in a blog post filled with blogs all frantically trying to be heard.
3. Use CAPITAL LETTERS strategically. I realize some blog authors advise you NOT to use capitals. Well, I beg to differ. Do not use too many capitals, but I have discovered with some experimentation in my writing career that the strategic use of capital letters can increase your readers' response to your headlines and help your blog to stand out among millions of others.
4. Experiment with the Negative Slant. I have read some interesting articles recently about the negative slant angle, not only for your headlines, but also for your entire article. This is especially true of lists. When you use a negative slant in your headlines, it will GRAB the attention of your reader instantly. This is especially true if you use a headline like the one I use above. Your reader will experience anxiety, and she will be compelled to read your entire article to find out what it is that she is not doing with her headline that will promote her blogs success and prevent a negative outcome. That negative slant is an attention-getter! One more thing: Lists with a distinctly negative slant tend to get Dugg!!
5. Make your prospective reader an offer they can not refuse. This one is a classic, but you need to be reasonably certain that you can deliver the goods that you are promising your reader. In other words, do not write a check that your *** can not cash!! In your headline, promise the reader that if they will take a few minutes to read your article, that you will show them how to write headlines that will increase their subscriber base. Give Me 5 Minutes And I will Show You How To Create Headlines That Will Increase Your Subscriber Base by 20% In A Month! would be an example. The possibilities with this approach are limitless!! Leverage this tip with the negativity slant and create a list and you may find your article Dug straight to the front page of Digg!!
6. Warn readers of the early signs of [you fill in the blank]!! This is an oldie but goodies. You need to craft an earnest, passionate headline for this one, warning readers of an impending horrible outcome. The weight loss niche is using this type of headline a lot. Ten Early Signs That You are A Burned-Out Blogger! is an example. Then you list the ten signs of blogger burnout, along with a solution for each sign. This tip offers lots of variations. You can make it humorous or negative or reassuring. Experiment!! Use your imagination!
7. Throw out the "rules", Go for broke. This is when you experiment with wild "thinking-outside-the-box" types of headlines. This is your opportunity to establish yourself as the ultimate thought leader in your niche! There are blogs out there that break nearly all the rules and succeed! Sometimes you should just set some of the rules aside and go for broke, try lots of different headlines. Find creative new ways to make your headlines stand out. Dream up the ultimate new Word Press plug-in that you can use to customize headlines, then take it to a programmer! Heck with the rules!! Redesign the entire blogging headline paradigm! You have a blog among millions of others and you must make it stand out!! Brainstorm ideas and write them all down on a sheet of paper, then try them one at a time!
Once you have fired up your headlines, your blog will be rejuvenated and you will be well on your way to success! Your dazzling headlines will grab readers by the throat as they are drawn to read your opening paragraph and then scan your article to find what they need to improve on to supercharge their long-ailing post titles. You will increase your readership, will provoke more commenting and your reader subscriber base will increase. You will also find that other blogs will back link to you!

What is it About a Blog That Makes You Want to Unsubscribe From Its Feed?
Today we'll talk about What is it About a Blog That Makes You Want to Unsubscribe From Its Feed?, lets find out:
There is been a lot of debate about this topic, and I would like to start a discussion about it here at the blog. What is it about a blog that makes you want to unsubscribe from that blogs feed? I will post some of my personal reasons that I would unsubscribe from a blogs feed. I cordially invite you, dear readers, to comment on this. I have always found this to be an interesting topic.
Blog posts. A blog post is a very long post, especially a very long post with little or no use of paragraphs and no scalability. When your post is too long, I may not read all of it, I will read your opening paragraph and if the rest of your post is not scalable, I might leave and go visit another blog.
Too many links in your post. When I see too many links in your post on your blog, I start thinking spam. You know those posts that catches that have all those links in them? Post like that and people will run pellmell from your blog like the plague!! When I try to read through an article that is overloaded with links, I will just go to the next blog in my feed reader. Why should I waste my time?
More than four posts per day. If you post five or more times per day, it really does not give readers time to comment on your articles, because there is so much new content updating every day that older posts get buried. Slow down there, tiger! Give us some time to read, mull over, and respond to your engaging ideas!
Full feeds vs Partial feeds. I can not even begin to fathom why anyone would want to publish a partial feed! Please do not make your readers have to click through to read your entire article!! Your blog ought to be all about your READERS! Use a full feed for the ease and convenience of your loyal readers. Just Do It!
Those are some of the things I see on blogs that cause me to stop reading those sites and un subscribe from them. Everyone reading this post is invited to weigh in with their two cents in the comments! Tell us what you encounter on blogs that make you want to un subscribe from them! Go ahead, tell us how you REALLY feel about this!!

How to Drive Traffic to Your Blog
Today we'll talk about How to Drive Traffic to Your Blog, lets find out:
I hear that all the time and I duly click to find out how, thinking I'll find a magic button that issues me with thousands of followers, eager to be my friend and also eager to buy my book! Not so, I'm afraid. I've made a list of some of the things that I've tried or am thinking of trying. It all acquires hard work though.
1. Forum Posting I'm a regular contributor to forums, but recently I've been asking questions and leaving my "signature" so folk can post back here in reply - and do they? Do they heck! They all reply on the forum.
2. Twitter I leave headings to my blog posts on twitter with the link, and yes I've had results this way but now I'm finding them ignored.
3. Building a Platform on Twitter... Mainly because I'm boring the hell out of my followers. I'm reluctant to download things and so I'm not bothering with feeds which I may have to change my mind about, because my followers on Twitter has hit 1700 and stopped. And I can't follow anymore, because I've reached my follow limit. So, note to self, need to research about "building a Twitter platform".
4. Facebook. This is another good way of advertising yourself, although I should imagine your friends and family would grow weary of your repetitive "Buy my book!" headline.
5. Blog Tours. This is instead of getting off your lazy arse and giving interviews on radio and TV... or rather for the not-so-famous-that-haven't-a-hell-of-a-chance-of-getting-interviewed-on-TV-or-radio. You could have a chat with other writer friends about this, but frankly don't think I'm interesting enough for anyone to want to interview me!
6. Blog carnivals. Not heard of this one before, but after excitedly researching I've discovered that it doesn't mean dressing up in brightly coloured clothes, singing and dancing in the street. I shall to look into this, but I imagine it's similar to Blog Tours?
7. Email subscription. You can invite everyone in your network to subscribe to your blog. Wasn't too sure about this one to be honest. Is there a point?
8. Link. Add a link to your blog in your email signature file. Brilliant idea, not sure the bank manager would appreciate it at the end of my rant about charges!
14. Trackback (or Pingback as it's sometimes called). This sends a message from one server to another server letting it know you have posted a reference to their post. Blogger doesn't support this, but uses Blacklink instead. I've only just started to use it, so can't comment on its usefulness yet.
15. Business Cards, brochures, flyers or whatever. This is an in invaluable way to advertise your blog. I use Vistaprint, and can't fault them.
16. RSS Feed This will let people subscribe to your blog, it means Really Simple Syndication, yeah, so simple I still haven't a clue! Anyway, isn't this the same as number 7?
17. Practise Good House Keeping on your blog that is. Keep it up-to-date, and post at least once a fortnight if not more. And always, always, reply to comments. It's so annoying when I make the effort to visit a blog, read and reply, and then ignored by the blog owner. Grrrr
18. Articles Write an article about something you've seen in another blog. Add their link, and then tell them. You never know this may lead to some of their followers following you as well!
3 Reasons Why WordPress Can Explode Your Income
Today we'll talk about 3 Reasons Why WordPress Can Explode Your Income, lets find out:
If you know a thing or two about blogging, or if you have been blogging for some time, you probably have heard a lot of people talking about WordPress and how great this blogging platform is.
Now, regardless of your own level as a blogger, knowing what is WordPress and what are the advantages of this free and amazing software is a must if you really want to make sustainable business out of blogging.
WordPress is an open source blogging platform that was first released on May 2003 by Matt Mullenweg as a fork of b2/cafelog, that since then has become the first choice of more than 200 million bloggers (according to Wikipedia).
But why so many people praise and recommend WordPress? Well, here is what this article is all about, and here is why:
1.- WordPress is the most popular blogging software on earth, but the important thing here is not the fact that it is likable to many, but the fact that such popularity has sparked an avalanche of additional developments for the software that have turned what was originally intended as a blogging platform into one of the best and most flexible content management systems.
A WordPress blog can now be much more than a simple blog and chances are you have stumbled upon many amazing and complex websites that underneath are nothing more than a WordPress blog.
Nowadays WordPress is suitable for almost any type of project you can come up with, including e-commerce!
2.- WordPress is free to use, and so are most of the additional developments (or plugins) released by third parties, so you can easily turn up a great website (not a simple blog) with a professional look and dynamic functions without the need to spend any money.
Given its popularity, plugins, addons and all sorts of free resources will keep on coming, so if you run your website using WordPress you will be able to benefit from continuous developments and enhancements at no cost to you
3.- WordPress is easy to manage and use once installed, so if you are not much of a techie, no problem, because the minute your platform is set up and properly configured, you will be able to add content and move everything around within your website without altering its professional look and without having to perform any coding or weird programming stuff.
Indeed 99% of all the tasks in your WordPress dashboard can be performed by simply pointing, clicking, dragging and dropping, so maintaining your website is really a ride in the park regardless of your background.
On the other hand, WordPress gets along extremely well with the search engines (your main source of free traffic and revenue) and it is easily optimizable to meet Google's relevance criteria.
All of this translates into one simple thing: outstanding potential for growth of your business and therefore your income, because the bottom line is that WordPress is designed to enable development like no other blogging software.
